RUN Global Embraces and Embodies Evangelism and Discipleship

The following are biblical truths and principles that are foundations of the T4T training process which RUN Global has adopted. Jesus Christ wants all people to be saved! (1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Peter 3:9)

. . . So God wants everyone to hear the gospel (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; John 20:21; Acts 1:8; 13:47)

. . . So all born again Christians ought to train in evangelism (Romans 10:13-15)

. . . So the trained may be sent, that is, “know and go” (Romans 10:14-15)

Every believer is a priest who proclaims God’s mighty deeds (1 Peter 2:5, 9; Revelation 1:6)

. . . So each of us has a ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18)

. . . And each believer must stay “salty and shiny” (Matthew 5:13-16)

Sharing your personal testimony is highly effective (Mark 5:19, 8:9; John 4:7-39; Revelation 12:11)

. . . And every believer should testify (Psalm 107:2)

New believers are the most likely to bring many to Christ as they have fresh zeal and many unsaved friends and relatives. But after about two years’ time, believers have withdrawn from past relationships.

So! T4T members and their new converts list as many lost people as they know. New converts learn a simple gospel presentation and how to share their personal testimony. They set goals to share with the lost people on their list and . . .

The trust factor is high in their close relationships with family and friends, many of whom trust Jesus for salvation and the TRAINED TRAIN THE NEW TRAINEES to evangelize.

This is how the gospel spread rapidly, astonishingly so, in Jerusalem in the first days and months following the first Pentecost. The church multiplied grew from 3,000 souls (Acts 2:41) to 5,000 households (Acts 4:4) to “multitudes of men and women constantly added to their number” Acts 5:14)!

RUN Global doesn’t just believe T4T works—it has used T4T to do millions of gospel presentations in South Asia.
